Community Description : Spring Village is a forming community in North East Trinidad where there is a high percentage of drug inflation, high level of school dropouts, under qualified students, unemployment, low levels of proffesional skills that leads people to engage in negative behavior.

Problem Addressed : This project focuses on the problems of unemployment among high school dropouts, young adults and underutilization of resources in the community.
How were the target group involved in identifying the project? : Through responses from previous self enhancement program and requests to implement a project like the agricultural one
How benefit project : This project offers a sustainable form of employment in the area of food production using limited resources to be self sufficient, utilizing available lands to grow crops for resale. To be treated as a major option and take it on a large scale to reduce the dependency on negative jobs as drugs. the behavior that are a result of few options.
How involved project deployment : Target beneficiaries would be part of the decision making process. tasks would be given to achieve a sense of responsibility control, cleaning, security and maintainence of equipments and tools. Participants would be on the planning committee and representing the association.
Environmental concerns : All pesticides would be used according to good agircultural practices. Students would be trained to use all equipment in a proffessional manner. all excess materials would be discarded properly to avoid pollution or contamination of water or others.

Objective(s) : 1) To create the awareness in self sufficiency through an agricultural program with twenty persons
2) To teach 20 persons to plant and take care of crops
3) To teach 20 persons to properly utilize different types of pesticides
4) To teach 20 persons different methologies on agriculture
