D'Abadie is a community made up of middle to low income families with some small squatting settlement. Some children are being raised by elderly grand parents, extended family and single parents who work late hours. As a result, many children are unsupervised. |

The project will be located in the Church Hall and the assets will be housed in a building situated next to the church. |
| Problem Addressed : |
The main problem to be addressed is the unproductive use of the leisure time of the above mentioned unsupervised children/ youths which leads to idleness and delinquency. |
| How were the target group involved in identifying the project? : |
Through youth group meetings many of the youths expressed an interest in learning music and playing an instrument. |
| How benefit project : |
The beneficiaries will benefit from the project by acquiring a skill, increased self confidence and a more positive use of their leisure time. |
